The Ronnie Lippin Cancer Information and Resource Line is dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families in Los Angeles County cope with the complexities and challenges of a cancer diagnosis by providing referrals to available cancer resources and related information.
Ronnie Lippin Cancer Information and Resource Line (RLCIRL) is a free community service at Tower Cancer Research Foundation (TCRF). We provide referrals that address the emotional, social, financial and medical (psychosocial) difficulties associated with a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
A professional medical social worker is available directly to assess needs, clarify concerns and discuss options to help cancer patients and their families make educated decisions about resource options. We help with managing the challenges and complexities of a cancer diagnosis through all aspects of the cancer experience.
Some of the referrals we can provide are: attendant health care and home health care agencies, pharmaceutical assistance programs, oncology physician referrals, transportation, hospice programs and supportive counseling services.
Our service is provided free to the Los Angeles County cancer community. We have developed a comprehensive listing of resources available for cancer patients in Los Angeles County.
